John Cote has had one man shows at The Croton Free Library, Croton on Hudson, NY and The Paramount Theater in Peekskill, NY.
He has also shown at Silvermine Arts Center,CT., Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, Arts of Northern Westchester, Greenwich Art Society @ The Bendheim Gallery, CT, Bank Art Gallery in Newburgh, NY and the Society of Illustrators, NYC.
He studied Hanga Printmaking with William Paden.
After working as a storyboard artist for four decades in New York, he has turned his full attention to making his own art. Most of that art centers around THE CIRCUS OF THE TIRED BEASTS.
John lives in Beacon, NY with his wife, writer Jeannie Zusy
